2021 Let's Go!!

week of January 4th - 8th

Fun. Geometry 
pds. 1,4 and 5 - the first 15 minutes we reviewed our notes from chpt 3 ... the second part of class Mr R gave us time to work on the Chpt 3 Review assignment in GMM ... Quiz tomorrow on lessons 3.3 and before

pds. 3 and 7 - no class    
  
Fun. Algebra 2 
pd. 6 - spent the first part of class reviewing lessons 2.1, 2.2 and 2.3, we used the chat box to answer Q's that Mr R was showing from our note sheets ... we started lesson 2.4 Notes Activity "How can we write linear equations?", we completed the first example ... practice time (mixed review "dotted line" problems and practice assignments that need completed) ... follow-up quiz Friday (half the class need to make up the quiz at help class at 2:30)

pds. 1 and 5 - we started class by answering "How many angles do you see?", this led into our Notes Activity for Lesson 3.5 "What's the difference between Complementary and Supplementary angles?" , we took notes and then worked in GMM ... the last 20 minutes of class we took the Chpt 3 Quiz #1 ... to finish class we were given time to work on any missing practice assignment ... note: follow-up quiz planned for Friday           

pd. 4 - no class   

Algebra 2       
pds. 3 and 7 - class started with a review of past notes we have used in lesson 3.1 about Solving Systems of Equations ... today we focused on using Substitution to solve a system of equations, we completed a Notes Activity and then Mr R modeled a few more examples on a separate note sheet for skill 3.1c ... the last 20 minutes of class was practice time (opportunity to complete assignments and work on Mixed Review "dotted line" problems)

pd. 6 - short review Q & A time ... lesson 2.4 day #2 "What are Linear Equations and how can they be written?", we continued yesterday's Notes Activity (finished examples 2,3,4 and 5) and then Turned In for activity credit ...  the last part of class was practice time (opportunity to complete assignments and work on Mixed Review "dotted line" problems ) ... follow-up quiz planned for Friday (if we need to take the quiz because we were absent we need to attend help class)

pd. 4 - we started class by answering "How many angles do you see?", this led into our Notes Activity for Lesson 3.5 "What's the difference between Complementary and Supplementary angles?" , we took notes and then worked in GMM ... the last 20 minutes of class we took the Chpt 3 Quiz #1 ... to finish class we were given time to work on any missing practice assignment ... note: follow-up quiz planned for Friday

pds. 3 and 7 - we started class with a "Do Now" activity (see Schoology folder) we had lots of discussion ... Mr R modeled several examples on note sheet skill 3.1c (using substitution to solve a system of equations) ... the last 15 minutes were used to complete practice assignments

pd. 6 - we started class by reviewing the 3 types of equations we will see when writing Linear Equations ... we focused on Slope-Intercept form, Mr R gave us examples on a note sheet for skill 2.4a (see Schoology) ... we were given the last 20 minutes of class to complete practice assignments from the past several lessons

pds. 1,4 and 5 - class began with a review of complementary and supplementary angles ... Mr R gave use examples for skill 3.5d (using equations to find missing angles) (see Schoology)...we were given time to practice in GMM before switching to Mixed Review and working on "dotted line" problems , tomorrow we will have an opportunity at a follow-up quiz

pds. 3 and 7 - we started class with a quick review (Q&A) using the chat box...we completed a Notes Activity (worth 8 activity points, see Schoology folder) reviewing how to use Elimination to solve a system of equations ... Mr R discussed the hybrid model for next week and he showed what we should look for in Schoology

pds. 1,4 and 5 - Mr R shared what we should look for in Schoology when we restart the Hybrid model (Schoology will have a weekly folder and inside the folder will be 2 more folders, 1 for in person (Synchronous) and 1 for at home (Asynchronous) ... we filled in notes for skill 3.5e (see Schoology), Mr R shared two different methods to find the answers and then we were given practice time ... time was given for our Chpt 3 Quiz #1 Follow-up Opportunity...the remaining time was used to complete assignments and work on Mixed Review
