pds. 1 and 5 - as usual Mr R shared the Game Plan for today and showed us where to find the lesson (lesson 1-1 day 4) in Schoology (where we could read the details on our own)...we started with a brief video and then had a quiz about the video details ... next, we took a quiz in GMM ... the remainder of the period we were given time to "catch up" on missing work or work on extra problems for bonus points
pd. 4 - we played "4 in a line" (like the game Connect 4), we discussed what goes into making decisions ... Mr R taught a mini-lesson about using Inductive Reasoning Skills , we answered several example problems on the notesheet 1-1(see Schoology) ... in small groups we worked on Practice 1-1 worksheet using Kami and submitted to Schoology

pds. 3 and 7 - we Review Properties (notesheet from last week, played Kahoot!) ... mini-lesson 1.1d about identifying equivalent expressions, GMM skill practice time ... mini-lesson 1.1e video examples about identifying properties used in solving equations, GMM skill practice time ... Mixed Review (dotted line problems are the Quiz questions that were missed)

pds. 1, 4 and 5 - Class started with Activity #1 "What's the answer?", Mr R shared several problems on the screen and we answered in the chat box, we talked about the patterns we see that help to avoid common mistakes, he also created his own operation symbol, he gave us several examples with answers and we had to figure out what was happening to get the answer , this was a great example of inductive reasoning ... Activity #2, we took Notes 1-1about inductive reasoning and submitted them in Schoology for an activity grade, we used Kami and Mr R showed us how to use a split screen so we could see his paper on one side and ours on the other ... brief time to check GMM for "dotted line problems"(problems missed on the last quiz) ... be prepared for a Follow-up Quiz later this week

Mr R shared a mini-lesson 1.2a about writing or identifying an equation from a real world situation ...time was given to complete GMM Mixed Review problems in preparation for the follow up quiz
